Tracks
A track is a recording of a boat's position as it moves. In other words,
it is the recording of the GPS positions received during the time it was being
recorded. To record a
track, select Record track from the Current Track submenu of the Tools Menu.
A track that is being actively recorded defaults to a green color. When a track
is being recorded you may pause and resume recording or stop recording.
Selecting stop will present 3 options:
- Stop and load will stop recording the active track and load it as a route.
- Stop and do not load will also stop recording but will
unload the track. It may be loaded later as a route.
- Stop and discard will throw away the recorded track and
delete the file.
