The Mariner Menu Structure
The Mariner menu structure provides control over all global functions that are common across
the entire Mariner system and all the instruments you may
display. In addition to the menu structure a toolbar is provided that allows quick access to
some of the most commonly used functions. The functions are divided into several groups:
- The File menu allows you to load and save Mariner configurations,
select how GPS data is read and written, and import charts.
- The Tools menu provides for the creation and control of
tracks, routes, and waypoints. This menu also has controls for
the GPS and anchor alarms, and the default distance units to use.
- The Help menu includes access to this help system and
tools for viewing license and copyright information.
In addition to the Mariner-wide menu structure and the toolbar, every
instrument also provides
a menu structure that is specific to itself. To access an instrument menu position
the mouse pointer over the Instrument and press the right mouse button.
